The sound of the Nuit
For the 30th anniversary of the Musée de l’Elysée, you can choose from among three different concerts! Have an aperitif to the acoustic music of Sartorius- Schild Duo; help create an original slam poem; and have a blast at the The LP collection concert.
Even if he can make a toothbrush and a flushing toilet sing, Julian Sartorius is, above all, an immense drummer and percussionist. A native of Bern, he lives, breathes and transcends rhythm, and his creativity, acclaimed in Switzerland and elsewhere, holds great promise for the future. Louis Schild, a 23-year-old self-taught bass player from Lausanne and hyperactive on the experimental scene, already has an impressive track record of projects and partnerships. Co-coordinator of the Espace Echallens 13 and a regular performer at the Théâtre 2.21 in Lausanne, founder of notable bands such as LEON and Straccia Mutande, Louis Schild multiplies his creative activities at an impressive pace.
A proposal by by Cocteau Mot Lotov & Stéphane Lam
Cocteau Mot Lotov and Stéphane Lam shed a new light on the works in the Musée de l’Elysée’ collections through vocal frescoes. Share your impressions, your inspirations and the emotions aroused by the museum’s works in poetry. These photos cum poems are presented, read and set to music on an open stage by the two artists – a “happening” where the Lausanne slam scene is invited to share this moment with spectators of all ages.
